Shrewsbury - Walking for Health
Walking in a group is a great way to start walking and to stay motivated. You’ll make friends, have fun and discover new places to walk in Shrewsbury as well as improving your health and fitness.
♥ Strollers - Gentle pace, few or no gradients, easy terrain, up to 30 mins.
♥♥ Steppers - Possible gradients, varying terrain, up to 60 mins.
♥♥♥ Striders - Reasonably demanding off road walks. Some challenging terrain, up to 90 mins.
New walkers are welcome to attend any of the walks. Please arrive early for your first walk to complete a Walker Registration Form. Please wear appropriate footwear and dress according to the weather. New walkers with a medical condition are advised to seek advice from their GP/Practice Nurse prior to starting with a walking group. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Due to the nature of the group walks participants are encouraged NOT to bring dogs (except guide or assistance dogs) on Health Walks.
