South Kesteven Health Walks
Walking for Health South Kesteven boasts numerous walking groups across the South Kesteven District, aiming to encourage and be accessible to as many people within our communities who wish to become more active and enjoy a healthier lifestyle. With walks ranging from 30-90 minutes, and various paces and across a varied terrain depending on location, Walking for Health South Kesteven provides free walks for beginners, people with health conditions that affect their daily activities, people wishing to "step down" from a more intense activity level and fro those just wishing to meet new people and get out and enjoy some fresh air and good company.
All walks are led by trained volunteers and follow the ethos and framework of the national Walking for Health Scheme. Our walking groups are very friendly, always encouraging new members. In most cases, refreshments are provided for a small fee at the end of each walk, making for a very sociable and friendly experience for all.

For specific information for each walk please contact the Community and Health Walks Co-ordinator on 01522 785 240. Everyone is welcome from "strollers" to "striders" and everyone in between, regardless of age (16 yrs and under must be accompanied by an adult) or ability. We like to think there is something for everyone, and would love to welcome you!
As with all Walking for Health Schemes, our programme of walks relies entirely in volunteers willing to train as Walk Leaders.
