Oxford Health Walks
Do you enjoy getting outdoors, walking and meeting new people? Or are you considering starting some gentle exercise?
All walks are FREE to attend and are normally between 1-3 miles in length (30 - 60 minutes).
They are volunteer led and suitable for beginners or those returning to exercise as they are taken at a distance and pace suitable for everyone. Anyone is welcome regardless of age or ability, but we do ask that young children are accompanied by an adult.
Please note that walks will not go ahead if there is severe rainfall, snow or ice.

Due to the developing COVID-19 advice we have made the decision to suspend all Oxford Health Walks until further notice. We are sorry for any disappointment this might cause but hope you understand that the health and wellbeing of our volunteer Walk Leaders as well as our walkers is of the upmost importance.

Tuesday 10am. Meet inside the Town Hall Cafe
Tuesday 10am. Meet at the NOC Community Centre
Wednesday 10am. Meet in the car park
(1st Wednesday walk of the month takes place from Christchurch Meadows at 10.15am instead)
Wednesday 11am. Meet outside Donnington Health Centre
Barton (starts 9th October)
Wednesday 12noon. Meet inside the Neighbourhood Centre
Thursday 10am. Meet at East Oxford Health Centre
Thursday 1.30pm. Meet inside Jericho Health Centre
Bury Knowle Park
Friday 10am. Meet outside Headington library
(As part of this Health Walk a shorter walk of up to 30 minutes/1 mile is offered every week)
Saturday 10am. Meet at the gate by Norham Gardens
Up for it Walk
First Thursday of every month 10am. Meet in the Forum (the lower hall behind the reception desk) of the John Henry Brookes building, Brookes University.
