Wirralside Walkers: Age UK Wirral

About Us

Everyone is welcome to come and join our monthly walks around the Wirral. We offer a range of short health walks from 20 mins to longer progression walks up to 4 hours. All walks are led by qualified walk leaders.  Please contact us for further information.

Birkenhead Park

Date: Monday 8th January 2018

Meeting Point: At the Park Pavilion

Time: 12.45pm for 13.00pm start

Distance: About 4 / 4.5 miles (flat and easy going)

 

New Brighton to Seacombe and back!

Date: Monday 22nd January 2018

Meeting Point: At Fort Perch Rock car park in New Brighton

Time: 12.45pm for 13.00pm start

Distance: About 4.5 miles 

Birkenhead Park (Lower Park)

Date: Friday 26th January 2018

Meeting Point: Outside Birkenhead Park Visitor Centre

Time: 10.45am for 11.00am start

Distance: approximately 60 minutes with 20 minutes and 40 minute option

 

Rivacre and Rivacre Brook

Date: Monday 5th February 2018

Meeting Point: At the 'Golf Course Car Park' off A41, opposite Burleydam Garden Centre

Time: 12.45pm for 13.00pm start

Dibbinsdale Valley

Date: Monday 19th February 2018

Meeting Point: At Meadowcroft car park, Age UK Wirral's centre in Bromborough, near Matalan

Time: 12.45pm for 13.00pm start

Distance: About 4.5 miles 

Arrowe Country Park

Date: Friday 23rd February 2018

Meeting Point: The seating area of the Toby Carvery

Time: 10.45am for 11.00am start

Distance: approximately 60 minutes with 20 minutes and 40 minute option

 

Parkgate Old Station and Neston Quay

Date: Monday 5th March 2018

Meeting Point: At the Car Park by the Old Station in Parkgate (by Cricket Club)

Time: 12.45pm for 13.00pm start

Distance: About 5.25 miles

Christleton and (part of) The Baker Way

Date: Monday 19th March 2018

Meeting Point: Car Park opposite the Institute in Christleton, on the right-hand side of the village

Time: 12.45pm for 13.00pm start

Distance: About 6.5 miles

New Brighton

Date: Friday 23rd March 2018
