Halton Borough Council (Walking for Health)

About Us

The Walking for Health program Halton run a schedule of weekly health walks lead by volunteers in Widnes and Runcorn.

Most walks are around about an hour long, however our short walk in Victoria Park Widnes offers options to walk for just 10-15 minutes allowing beginners to get started.

Halton Borough Council also support independant walking with a variety of health walk maps including Green Flag site walks, Green Park walks, Urban walks, and Active travel to work maps for Halton Borough Council staff.

Occassionally promotions include free step-o-metres for Halton residents who register to start walking.

Please see our programme, or use our contact details for more information.
