North Leeds Greenway Walking Group
Are you wanting to get more active and meet new people? Then why not join the North Leeds Greenway Walking Group which is part of the national Walking for Health initiative which is supported by the Ramblers Association and MacMillian Cancer Support. Walking for Health is England’s largest network of health walks with over 400 active schemes, helping people across the country lead a more active lifestyle.
North Leeds Greenway Walking Group offers FREE short walks between parks and greenspace in north Leeds. The 2.5mile Allerton Grange Fields to Canal Gardens Circular Walk includes a rest stop at Tropical World Café at Canal Gardens. Another route is Allerton Grange Fields to Chapel Allerton Park with a rest stop in Chapel Allerton village centre. Further walks may be added in the future as the group expands. The walk takes place on the second Saturday morning of each month.
