Walk Tower Hamlets

About Us

Join us on a walk this week with WALK TOWER HAMLETS.

A weekly health walk can be a good way to get regular exercise, meet new people, and explore the borough.  Don’t worry if you’re a beginner – all levels of walking ability are welcome.

Our groups are based at various health centres and community spaces, spread across the borough. The walks (which are free) typically last 60-90 minutes, and the groups offer a sociable setting in which to explore the neighbourhood – including local parks, waterways and heritage landmarks – and get some exercise at the same time.

Anyone interested in joining one of the groups is encouraged to get in touch with the relevant walk leader in advance just to check the arrangements and so that they know to look out for you. Or, for more general enquiries, feel free to contact me the scheme coorindator, Graham Barker on graham@walkeast.org or 0791 922 1806.
