Intact: Preston Health Walks

About Us

Intact provides support, advice and a signposting service, as well as a drop in service. A venue for community meetings, education and learning, and a range of facilities for recreation and leisure for residents of all ages.

Intact's primary purpose is to serve the Ingol and Tanterton neighbourhoods and we are now able to offer more services and activities to more people in the city of Preston and surrounding areas.

Intact operate at the Intact Community Centre on Whitby Avenue situated between Ingol School and Holy Family School. Intact have a team of Staff, Volunteers, Social Work Students on placement and a Board of Directors, many who live locally, and whose dedication and commitment to serve our local people is second to none.

Join us for a walk every Wednesday 10am - 12 noon.

Get out and about and get fit at the same time. (Meet in Whitby’s Café at Intact)

Our Walks

Haslam Park Walk - PR2 1JE

We meet at the Haslam park car park every Thursday at 10:30am, usally lasting around an hour.

We take a gentle walk round the park usually lasting around an hour. We have 4 walk leaders and there are fast and slow walk options.

Preston Walk - PR2 3YP

Join us every Wednesday for a walk starting from Whitby's cafe at the Intact Centre.
