Do you enjoy walking? Would you like to encourage others to walk more?
We are currently seeking volunteers in Harrogate and Knaresborough to support the walks we are already running and seeking volunteers to bring the walks to more areas of Harrogate District.
All walks have a mimimum of two vounteers per walk, so you will always have a volunteer on a walk with you. Training to become a health walk leader is completely free! All we ask is a minimum of 2 hours per month/2 walks as a volunteer. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer walk leader, please contact Helen Steventon on 07388 396 650.

Our walks are aimed at those who are not quite as fast as they used to be! Also people who have never done much exercise before or perhaps as a result of an injury, surgery or a long term condition need to walk at a slower, steady pace. There are many benefits of being part of a group activity, the chance to chat and get to know new people and a walk with friends is always a tonic.
Come and join us and if you are looking for an opportunity to contribute to your local community, we would be very happy to train you to become a volunteer to support the groups.
