Haringey: Walk this way

About Us

Walk your way to Health’ - Health Walks Programme

This is a volunteer-led group walking programme supported by Haringey Council for all Haringey residents.

All volunteers have been trained as Walk Leaders and hold appropriate insurance cover.  The programme is part of a national initiative lead by Walking for Health. It aims to encourage people, particularly those who are the least active, to do regular short walks (30 minutes-45 minutes) within their local community.   The walks are sociable and fun.
All walks are FREE OF CHARGE and all abilities are catered for.  To access the Scheme patients just turn up at the venue and are asked to complete a brief Health Questionnaire prior to participating on the walk. For more information about the Health Walks programme, contact the ‘Active for Life’ Team on 0208885 7307
