Get Moving Tendring
Are you stuck in a rut, bored, depressed or just not getting out enough? Then the Get Moving Walking Group could be for you. The activity is delivered by Community Voluntary Services Tendring (CVST) as part of the lottery funded Healthier Independent Longer Lives (HILL) project. It is designed to help people lead healthier, more independent and active lives.
There are walks every Friday, sunday and a shorter walk each Wednesday.
The walks on Friday start from 11.00am for 90 minutes, includes a break where possible and a cuppa and chat.
The walks on Sunday start from 12.30pm and usually end with a coffee and a chat at around 2.00pm. All are free, fun and suitable for all ages and abilities to come along and make new friends. These walks have a different meeting point each week and we return to the same point at the end of the walk.
Every Wednesday there is a 30 minute health walk along Clacton seafront, leaving from Martell Bay near the Lifeboat station and car park. This walk starts at 12 midday and finishes at 12.30 with a return to Martello Bay.Free.
Every Sunday, 12.30pm—2.00 pm for a 90 minute walk and every Wednesday at 12;00 midday for a a shorter up to 30 minute walk.
The Wednesday meeting point is at Martello Bay, Clacton On Sea.
