DARTFORD HEALTH WALKS
Darenth Country Park Walk - Tuesdays, 10.30am (Weekly)
Starting and finishing at Darent Valley Hospital reception area, Dartford
After a short stroll from the meeting point at the hospital you enter Darenth Country Park. This walk takes in the delights of the park including the Chapel Orchard. Typically last around 45 mins - 1 hour. This walk takes place on uneven ground, has stiles and includes an uphill section. It is a great walk for people progressing through the Health Walk programme.
Greenhithe Walk - Wednesdays, 10.30am (Weekly)
Starting and finishing at ‘The Place’ Community Café at St Mary’s Greenhithe, London Road
Enjoyable walk around the Greenhithe area including Ingress Park and views of the River Thames. Afterwards enjoy a refreshment back at the café. Typically last around 45 mins - 1 hours. The majority of this walk is on paved pathways and is on flat terrain. It is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs
Central Park Walk - Thursdays, 11.30am (Weekly)
Starting and finishing at the War Memorial outside Central Park, Dartford, Town Centre.
This 30 - 45 minute weekly walk will wander around Central Park taking in sights such as the formal Gardens, the River Darent and the nearby Brooklands Lakes. The ground is a mixture of solid and gravel paths – in wet weather it can be muddy in places. The walk is flat and suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs and is great for both people new to Health Walks and regulars.
Swanscombe Walk - Fridays, 10.00am and Sundays 9.00am
Starting and finishing outside the Old Fire Station, Church Street, Swanscombe
This 30 minute flat walk around the historical Swanscombe is a great walk for individuals new to health walks and is led by a trained NHS Health Trainer.

This weekly walk takes place at a variety of open and green spaces across the borough and also further afield, exploring what North West Kent has to offer.
This walk is separate from the Walking for health programme and the walks typically range from 3-5 miles and are a great progression after attending the other Health Walks for a while.
