Christchurch and East Dorset Health Walks

About Us

A great opportunity to get out in the fresh air and meet new people. The Health Walks are led by volunteer walk leaders throughout East Dorset and Christchurch. They run every week to help you establish a routine, are ideal for beginners and there is no need to book, just turn up! Have a look to see if there is a walk near you. They are all free to attend.

We have scheduled a series of longer walks (90 minutes) for those wishing more challenging walks, as well as some shorter walks of 30 minutes and less for those recovering from illnesses such as strokes and fractures etc. In keeping with this strategy, we are recruiting health walk leaders to increase our capacity to make this initiative a reality. If you would like to become a volunteer health walk leader please contact us at activate@christchurchandeastdorset.gov.uk or call 01425 480811
