Boston Health Walks
Boston Health Walks offer every week to the community 12 different walking groups in and around Boston. Walks are suitable for beginers through to those wishing to take a longer walk.
All walks are led by trained walk leaders.
Every walk offers various distances a short introduction walk for 10 to 30 minutes and the other a longer distance of up to 3 miles which would take approximately an hour. All new walkers are advised to walk at their own pace and will be supported by the trained walk leaders.
All walks are pushchairs and wheelchair friendly.
Each walking group has10 different walks that are rotated week to week from the venue listed. After each walk light refreshments are offered and social time is enjoyed by all attending.
Through the walking groups other socail activities can be accessed.
In additional to the weekly led walks Boston Borough Council have 10 self led walks which are easily followed using the downloadable walking maps from the download box.

Donation to attend one walk or all twelve weekly walks £1:50p per week, so you can attend as many as you like and pay only once.
This contributes to hire of venue and refreshments after walk.

Come along and join our social walking groups. All walks offer a short walk lasting from 10 to 30 minutes or a longer walk lasting approximately an hour. The times stated below include social time after the walk when FREE light refreshments are offered after the monday to friday walks.
The walks are accessible to all abilities, are easy walking and are led by friendly volunteer walk leaders and can be between half a mile to approximately 3 miles.

Sue Stubley and Margaret Saunston two of Kirton group Walk Leaders recently entered a beautiful flower display in Kirton Church Flower Festival to celebrate Boston's Walking programmes 9th birthday.
Many thanks to them both for such a wonderful display.
All groups are now preparing for their Macmillan Coffee events which will be held through September and October. Cakes of every description and flavour will be baked and other activities included raffles, "guess the bear's name" and "how many tea bags in the pot?" will be held.
