If you'd like to help out on our walks, but don't want to be a walk leader then taking on a walk assistant role could be for you.
Particularly on larger walks, it can be great for walk leaders to have a helping hand in welcoming the walkers and making sure that the paperwork is all completed efficiently.
It's also great for the walkers to have an extra person to talk to when they're out and about on the walks.
The responsibilities of these assistant roles can vary from scheme to scheme and could also include some elements of administration or promotion, particularly if this is also something you're interested in.
If you'd like to find out more about what you can do with your local scheme, then simply pop your location into the search box on the right and you'll be able to get in touch with them. Make sure to tell them what you're interested in doing and they'll be able to tell you what's available.
