Stoke-on-Trent : FSC 'Closer to Home Walking Network'

These led short health walks are completely free and take place every day around the beautiful parks and greenways in Stoke-on-Trent - funded by Stoke Primary care Trust.

They last up to an hour (unless it is a special themed walk) and are for all ages and abilities - most involve no steps, stiles or inclines and are wheelchair and pushchair friendly.

Monday - Bucknall Park- 10.30am - 1st Monday in the month. Meet at Bucknall Park cafe

Monday -Nosey Parker (Longton)- 10.30am - 1st and 3rd Monday in the month. Meet at Gladstone Museum

Monday - Trent Vale/ River Trent & Canal- 10.30am - 2nd and 4th Monday in the month. Meet at Black Lion, London Road

Monday-  Weston Sprink 11am- Every week, Meet at Weston Coyney Arms

Monday - Hanley Park- 2pm - Every week. Meet in Norfolk Street Surgery

Tuesday - Fenton Park to Sammi's Pool- 10.30am - Every Tuesday. Meet at the park pavillion (by the toilets). FREE DRINKS

Tuesday- Newstead Woods 1pm- Every Week, Meet at Tollgate Gym

Tuesday - Westport Lake- 2pm - Every week. Meet at the visitors centre

Tuesday- Bradley Village- 3:30pm - Every week. Meet at the Bradely Village reception

Wednesday - Fenton Park- 10.30am - Every first and third Wednesday in the month. Meet at the park lodge. FREE DRINKS

Wednesday - Tunstall Park- 11am - Every week. Meet at the Community Centre Cafe

Wednesday- Caldon Canal, 12noon, Every week, Meet at ADSIS at Havelock Place FREE DRINKS

Wednesday – Berryhill Fields- 1.30pm - Every week. Meet at the Treehouse Childrens Centre

Wednesday- Trentham Park- 2pm Every week. Meet at the Harvester by the park gates (A34)

Thursday – Trentham Canal- 11am - Every second and fourth Thursday in the month . Meet at the Toby Carvery

Thursday – Longton Park and Florence Greenway- 11am - Every first and third Thursday in the month. Meet at the Belgrave Medical Centre

Thursday- Trent and Mersey Canal- 11am- Every Thursday, Meet at Sandyford Fire Station FREE DRINKS

Friday- Caladon Canal walk- 10.00am, 1st and 3rd Friday in the month, Meet at Tesco cafe, Hanley

Friday- Blurton walk- 10.00am, 1st Friday in the month, Meet at Blurton childrens centre

Friday- St Albans walk 10.00am, Last Friday in the month, Meet at St Albans Community Centre

Saturday- Park Hall Nature Trail- 10am, 1st Saturday in the month, Meet at Park Hall visitors centre

Saturday- Newchapel- 10.00am Every second Saturday in the month. Meet at St James Church, Station Road. FREE DRINKS

Saturday - Lyme Valley - 11am - Every 1st and 3rd Saturday in the month. Meet at the Orange Tree, London Road

Sunday - Star and Garter Walk (Longton) - 11am - Every 2nd and 4th Sunday, meet at New Florence, Sussex Place

Sunday - Ford Green Nature Reserve - 1pm - Every week. Whitfield Valley Centre

Sunday - Penkhull Village 1pm - Every third Sunday. Meet at the Marquis of Granby

Sunday - Goldenhill and Sandyford - 2pm - Every week.  Meet outside the Mace Store (near McDonalds), in association with SAGE and Age UK

Sunday- Eturia Canal- 3pm Last Sunday in the month. Meet outside the Costa Coffee, Odeon Cinema
