The Severn Strollers Walking for Health scheme was set up in Bridgnorth in 2003 as part of the National Walking for Health initiative and now has 10 regular walks in the South East Shropshire area.

Walks are graded as Strollers (level 1), Steppers (level 2), and Striders (level 3).

 ♥ Strollers       - Gentle pace, few or no gradients, easy terrain up to 1 hr.

♥♥ Steppers      - Possible gradients, varying terrain, up to 90 mins or moderate pace up to 1 hr.

♥♥♥ Striders  - Reasonably demanding off road walks. Some challenging terrain,up to 2hrs or brisk pace up to 1 hr.

(Length of walks and intensity may vary slightly between locations. Please see attached leaflets or call for further details)

 All walks are lead by qualified walk leaders who will endeavour to provide a suitable walk for all abilities.

 !!!IMPORTANT DETAILS!!!

You will be asked to complete a short health questionnaire before your first health walk. If you are unsure of your fitness please consult your GP or Health Care Professional.

 All walks are free. All you need is a comfortable pair of shoes.
