Nuneaton and Bedworth Walking for Health

Walking is described by health experts as 'almost perfect exercise', which requires no expensive equipment and is easy to participate in. Walking is an ideal way for most people to become more active without the need for special equipment, in an enjoyable and sociable way.
Nuneaton and Bedworth Leisure Trust (NBLT) aims to increase the number of walkers locally. Anyone of any age and ability are welcome to the walks and our walk leaders will help you to walk at a pace that is right for you.
If you enjoy walking, are sociable and would like to help others to get more active then you could become a volunteer walk leader. We need more walk leaders to help our lead current walks and to develop walks in new areas. We offer free walk leader training, which takes one day and we then continue to support walk leaders with regular meetings and events with free refreshments.
Our walks
NBLT's Walking for Health Scheme has FREE weekly walks throughout the borough! So why not come along, meet new friends and get more active. The walks are friendly, sociable and are led by trained Walk Leaders. All abilities are welcome and we will help you do as much as you can, from 5 minutes to 1 hour.
Join us on the following walks, which are held weekly (unless stated otherwise) throughout the year:
