Kidderminster Stride & Stroll

Our walks
Kidderminster Stride & Stroll meets every Saturday at 10:30am at one of 30 different venues all within a 10 mile radius of Kidderminster. The walks are across country on public footpaths and bridle paths with as little road walking as possible. Walkers are organised into 5 different ability groups which we call, A, A/B, B, C and D. Distances are approximately 6, 5, 4 and 3 miles respectively, all completed in roughly the same time - 2 hours.
There is also a short walk every Thursday at 11:00 am at one of 5 different venues in and around the Wyre Forest District Council area. The walks are on level, easy surfaces lasting 45-60 minutes, which always finish with a cuppa and a chat. The intention is to encourage people to take up walking as a means of improving their health and fitness.
See "Downloadable documents" below for details of our current programme.
So ... if you fancy taking some 'moderate exercise' or simply want to enjoy a 'social stroll' why not come along and try us out. It's fun, it's healthy and it's FREE.
