The Walking for Health scheme in East Staffordshire consists of a number of weekly led walks across the Borough including:

Stapenhill Gardens, The Washlands, Barton under Needwood, Yoxall, Tutbury, Stretton, Rolleston on Dove, Horninglow and Eton; plus additional walks in the summer period.

The walks are both rural and urban. Walks are between 1-2 miles.

The Meadowside, Stapenhilll and Tutbury walks are pushchair and wheelchair friendly.

All walks in the programme are free.


Our walks

Barton-Under-Needwood
Every Monday at 10.15am from St. James Church Hall.

Horninglow and Eton

Every Monday at 10.30am from Horninglow Basin, Horninglow Street, Burton upon Trent.

Meadowside Leisure Centre
Every Monday at 11.30am from Meadowside Leisure Centre, Off High Street DE14 1TL.

Stapenhill Gardens
Every Tuesday at 10.30am from Stapenhill Gardens (Bandstand) DE15 9AP. This walk consists of 4 graded walks to accommodate all abilities.

Stapenhill Gardens Evening Walk

Starts Tuesday 26th April at 6.45 pm from Stapenhill Hollows, Stapenhill Road DE15 9AF.  (April to September)

Stretton
Every Tuesday at 2.00pm from The Green Stretton DE13 0EQ.

Rolleston on Dove

Every Wednesday at 10.30 am from the Car Park at the Spead Eagle Public House, Church Road DE13 9BE.

Yoxall Village
Every Wednesday at 10.45am from Yoxall Health Centre, Savey Lane DE13 8PD (Park at Crown Inn). 

Tutbury Village
Every Thursday at 10.00 am from the Car Park across from the Leopard Pub, Monk Street DE13 9NA.
