Torbay: Bay Walks
Bay Walks is a programme of regular led walks in Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. If you are looking to improve your health, or would like to meet new people, then Bay Walks could be for you!
Bay Walks is co-ordinated by the Lifestyles Team, part of Torbay and Southern Devon Health and Care NHS Trust.
There are many different locations for our walks in Torquay, Paignton and Brixham and they all range in distance and difficulty.
These walks are recommended for beginners, those recovering from illness or surgery, or for those with mobility limitations. They range from SHORT (up to about a mile and a half, flat with no steps, slopes or stiles), MEDIUM (1-2 miles may include some steps or slopes but no stiles) and LONG (2-4 miles may include coastal paths, uneven ground, steps, slopes and stiles).
Why not challenge yourself to a more difficult walk and see how far you have come in acheiving your health and fitness goals?

These walks are for those who can manage rugged, undulating terrain, steep slopes, steps and stiles. A great opportunity for anyone looking to progress their walking to the next level, and to improve their health and wellbeing at the same time.
A great social occassion, especially for those who don't like to walk alone.
It's fun and sociable to walk with others, and in the process you will discover interesting and beautiful parts of the Bay, enjoy the view... and feel healthier!
All walks are led by volunteers, are free and are open to everyone.
