Plymouth - East End Walking Club

Funded by Public Health Development Unit, we aim to encourage people to lead a healthier lifestyle. This walk is part of the 'Step into Nature' project, 'Step into Nature' brings together a new partnership between Plymouth City Council's Planning Services, Children's Services and Parks departments, and NHS Plymouth's Public health development Unit, as well as Dartmoor national park, National Trust and Tamar Valley AONB, to deliver a coordinated approach to 'Walking for Health' across the city.
Our walks
We walk on Thursday lunchtimes from 1 - 2pm. Walks start at the East End Renewal Office and last approximately an hour. Walks are circular and mainly on good paths and pavements but may include slopes and occasional steps. Walks are suitable for anyone.
Walk 1 - Around the Barbican and Sutton Harbour
Walk 2 - Beaumont Park, Freedom Fields Park and Tothill Park.
Walk 3 - Embankment and Blagdon Meadows
