East Dorset Health Walks

A great opportunity to get out in the fresh air and meet new people. Led by volunteer health walk leaders, these walks run every week to help you establish a routine. Ideal for beginners and no need to book, just turn up!

Our walks

Moors Valley Country Park

Meet: Visitor Centre, Moors Valley Country Park, BH24 2ET

Cost: free (refreshments extra and car parking charges apply)

• Mondays (1 hour walk) - 9.45am for a 10.00am start
• Mondays (½ hour walk) - 10.15am for 10.30am start
• Wednesdays - 9.45am for 10.00am start
• Wednesdays (½ hour walk) - 10.15am for 10.30am start

Verwood Buggy Walk

This walk is especially designed for parents with little ones; all routes are suitable for buggies.

Meet: The Hub, Brock Way, Verwood, BH31 6WW

Cost: free (refreshments at end of walk extra)

• Mondays - 9.30am for a 9.45am start

Wimborne

Meet: Allendale Centre, Hanham Road, BH21 1AS

Cost: free (refreshments at end of walk extra, parking charges apply in Wimborne Town)

• Mondays and Tuesdays - 10.15am for a 10.30am start
• Wednesdays - 10.15am for a 10.30am start

Please note: the walk on Wednesdays is a level 2; the route will be hilly with some stiles and last approx. 1½ hours. Meet: - QE Leisure Centre, BH21 4DT

Verwood

Cost: free (refreshments at end of walk extra)

Ferndown
