Combe Martin Walk n Talk Group


A new walking your way to health group in the seaside village of Combe Martin, North Devon. There are a mixture of Level 1[easy] walks and Level 2 and 3 walks[moderate and more difficult] leaving from various locations in the village and in the surrounding countryside. They are listed on the current walk programme.
Our walks
Walks leave various locations at 10am generally on a Thursday. If you are a new walker you need to arrive 15minutes beforehand to fill out a health questionnaire.Phone the walk leader on the programme for more info.Always check the programme for days and times.
All walks are led by trained volunteer walk leaders who will tell you the route and roughly how long it will take.Level 1 walks are for new walkers who are just starting out but welcome to all. Level 2 and 3 are for those fitter who want a bit of a challenge or have progressed from Level 1.
All walkers should wear suitable clothing and footwear and bring water and snacks or refreshments for longer walks.Well behaved dogs are welcome but check programme first.
Programmes can be picked up from the library, Tourist information , the museum ,the local deli and other locations around the village.
If you require transport ring the walk leader beforehand and they will try to arrange a car share and you will be expected to share cost of the petrol.
