Bodmin Stroll Back the Years

Bodmin Stroll Back the Years
Region: South West
Last updated: 13, July 2011

North Cornwall District Council through the Walk to Work project and Stroll Back the Years have put together a programme of walks which are led by trained Volunteer Walk Leaders in and around Bodmin. Some walks are more testing than others so please refer to the walk descriptions to choose the walk that suits you best. Most starting point Grid References are from OS map Explorer 109.

Our walks

All our walks are on Mondays and begin at 10am.

Our programme is varied with the vast majority of walks being off road on beautiful paths and trails in the Bodmin area. Highlights include the Lanhydrock Estate and the upper reaches of the Camel Trail.

Walks last between 45 to 90 minutes including rest breaks and are gently paced.

Walks are open to everyone, but particularly those who do little exercise or are recovering from injury or ill-health.

Well behaved dogs on leads may be allowed-check with the leaders first.

On the first walk you need to arrive in time to complete a brief Health Check form. This information is kept confidential but allows the leaders to look out for potential problems.
