Fylde & Wyre - Your move Walks
The Your move programme is funded by the NHS to provide physical activity for people in the Fylde and Wyre area. It has been set up to help to increase the amount of Physical Activity people do and to improve people's health and wellbeing. The walking programme is just one element of the scheme and it is available to anyone, not just Fylde and Wyre Residents.
Funded by the NHS, these free walks offer the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and get fitter through light, regular exercise.
The walks range from 25 minute walks to walks up to 90 minutes and take place all around the Fylde and Wyre area. They are fun, free and enjoyable and a great way to meet new people and make new friends. Walks often end with refreshments to reward your efforts and relax in the company of friends.
All the walks are lead by fully trained Walk Leaders. Any walkers who attend the Your move walks on a regular basis, will be offered the chance to do the training and become a Volunteer Walk Leader too.
