Every week 'Health Walks' take place in most towns and villages in the Borough.

Our walks

The walks offer various options for all abilities from beginners (with walks of 1 to 2 miles) to those preferring longer walks of 4 to 5 miles. All walks start at 10.00am unless otherwise notified.

Monday: Ferryhill, meet at town hall
Tuesday: Newton Aycliffe, meet at Pioneering Care CentreTuesday: West Cornforth Village, leaving from Cornforth House
Tuesday: At 1pm, Sedgefield Village Health Walkers, meet at the Parish Hall.
Wednesday: Chilton Village Walkers, meet at Hutton House Durham Road
Wednesday: Shildon Nifty Fifties
Thursday: Spennymoor, meet at Jubilee park
Thursday: Aycliffe Starters Group at Pioneering Care Centre
Friday: Trimdon Trotters meet at Trimdon House, Trimdon 2000
