West Ham Park
Due to popular demand, West Ham Park's health walks have been extended indefinitely. The walks are weekly every Wednesday and run for an hour from 11am -12pm, with shorter walks available within this time for 20mins or 30mins. Meet at the bandstand in West Ham Park. A map of the Park is located at every entrance.
It is essential to book in advance.
Please ensure you wear appropriate footwear and clothing.
West Ham Park is a natural environment and the walking route will have uneven surfaces and will change from season to season. Suitable walking shoes and clothing for the weather would be appropriate - as would a bottle of water - you may work up a thirst!
If you are new to the Walking for Health programme, we ask you to first check with your GP to make sure that they are happy for you to participate in this exercise. The walks are free of charge and led by a trained walk leader. All we ask is that you complete a health questionnaire before the first walk commences.
