Our led walks are available to the general public.


Our walks

Calke Abbey
At 2pm every Monday (except 5th in the month). Meet in the main car park

National Memorial Arboretum At 2:30pm every Monday. Meet at the National Memorial Arboretum, near Alrewas.

Swadlincote COPD walk
At 1pm every Tuesday. Meet in the reception of the new Heartwood Surgery. A slow and steady walk specifically for anyone suffering from breathing difficulties.

Swadlincote
At 10.00am on Wednesdays. Meet at Green Bank Leisure Centre.

Swadlincote
At 1pm on Wednesdays. Meet at Swadlincote Surgery.

Melbourne At 1pm on Wednesdays. Meet outside the Melbourne Leisure Centre/Library.

Willington Marina
Thursdays at 1.30pm. Meet in the Canal car park.


Newhall
Thursdays at 2pm. Meet in The Old Post Centre.

Nordic Walking
At 10am every Thursday morning at Rosliston Forestry Centre. £3 if hiring poles. £1.50 if using own.

Midway
At 2pm on Fridays. Meet at The Railway Inn.

Gresley
At 1pm on Wednesdays. Gresley Glade Health Centre, Glamorgan Way, Church Gresley.

Hilton
At 10:30am on Mondays. Meet at The Hilton Brook Pub.

Overseal

At 1:30pm on Tuesdays. Meet at Overseal Surgery.

Rosliston Pushchair Walk
At 10:30am on Tuesdays. Meet at Rosliston Forestry Centre.

Rosliston Strolling Strong
At 11:00am on Thursdays. Meet at Rosliston Forestry Centre. This walk includes a short exercise session. £1.50

These walks last between 45 - 60 minutes, and are suitable for all levels of ability and all ages. The Green Bank walk is especially suitable for anyone unused to physical activity.

There are also regular led walks for adults with learning difficulties and people with mental health problems. Ring for more details.
