Broxtowe Walk & Talk

Our walks
If you can 'Walk and Talk' and enjoy it, then the new programme of short and long walks in Broxtowe Borough could be for you. The walks provide the opportunity to improve health, make new friends and get to know the local environment.
All the walks are free, there is no need to book, and everyone is welcome.
Walk and Talk offers a variety of walks suitable for all abilities. Short walks are usually between 45 to 60 minutes long on good surfaces and fairly flat routes. Short walks take place at Attenborough Nature Reserve and Colliers Wood, Moorgreen.
The longer walks are for the more experienced or more agile walkers and take up to 90 minutes. There will be a mixture of routes along towpaths, lanes, footpaths and public rights of way including some slopes and stiles. There are a variety of venues for the longer walks including Bramcote, Attenborough, Stapleford, Brinsley, Kimberley, Cossall, Eastwood and Greasley
New to the programme are the increasingly popular 'Walks after Work' that are walks up to 90 minutes long in the Beeston area. The walks provide the perfect way to blow away the stress and wind down after a busy day.
Walk and Talk is a partnership of local organisations and individuals who aim to promote walking for health and enjoyment. For more information about the walks or for a copy of the 'Walk and Talk' programme please contact Julie Cole.
