Wandlebury Health Walks
A weekly 'Healthy Walk' through Wandlebury Country Park led by Cambridge Past Present & Future volunteers, followed by refreshments. Enjoy the changing seasons, in this lovely Country Park on the gentle chalk Gog Magog Hills just to the south of Cambridge - woodland, meadows with sheep and Highland cattle grazing and the Wandlebury Ring Iron Age site.

Everyone welcome especially those new to exercise so come and join us!
All walks are FREE
The walks take place every Thursday morning. Our extended walk (approx 60 minutes - 3 miles) starts at 10:00am and our short walk (approx 30 minutes - 1.5 miles) starts at 10:30am please arrive 10 minutes before each walk starts to register.
The walks are suitable for anyone who is interested in walking or who want to adopt a healthier lifestyle. All ages and abilities are welcome, dogs are also welcome but must be kept on a leash whilst in the park, and there is time afterwards to relax and chat with a cup of tea or coffee.
Meet at Wandlebury Stable Rooms (follow the signs from the Visitor Car Park). Wandlebury Country Park is on the A1307, Cambridge to Haverhill road, 2.5 miles south of the Addenbrooke's roundabout. Regularly serviced by bus routes 13, 13A, 13B & X13 between Cambridge and Haverhill.
There is a £3.00 parking charge towards the management of the Country Park (free for members of Cambridge Past, Present & Future).
Walkers are advised to bring a bottle of water to sip during the walks, to wear suitable footwear and to dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
There is no need to book, just turn up on the day. Participants will be required to complete a Walker Registration Form before the start of their first walk.
For walkers wanting more of a challenge we do arrange some 6 mile walks throughout the year also but these are not supported under the National Walking for Health banner.
