Stanborough Park Health Walks

Stanborough Park - Welwyn Garden City. Appreciate the beauty and diversity of this urban park on a group walk.
Our walks
Put your best foot forward for your health and wellbeing.
If you want to get outdoors and more active but aren’t sure how to start, why not step out in confidence at the Stanborough Park Health Walks? Finesse Leisure are coordinating a programme of free weekend, lunch time (winter) and evening (summer) walks starting from outside the café and reception area at the south lake. Each walk takes in a 45 to 60 minute-long route around the park which is suitable for all ages and abilities.
The monthly walks will take place on the 2nd Saturday of the month from April to September 2012 at 2.00pm.
The weekly walks will take place every Tuesday from April to September 2012 at 6.00pm.
Health walks are all led by trained volunteer leaders and are a great way to get some fresh air, gentle exercise and meet some new people - all walks are followed by a friendly cuppa!
If you would like more information about the walks or about getting involved as a leader, please contact Amanda Riches on 01707 278037, email: a.riches@finesseleisure.com, or visit the Finesse Leisure website www.finesseleisure.com or the Walking the Way to Health website: www.whi.org.uk.
