Peterborough Walking for Health
Welcome to Peterborough's Walking for Health Scheme. Everybody is welcome on the walks, including people who wouldn't call themselves active, but we are especially keen to meet people who are trying to build up their daily activity levels, people who have or are at risk of experiencing poor health, and people who maybe feel isolated and would like to meet new people.
We would also love to hear from anybody who would like to help lead walks. No experience is necessary as full training is given. Walking makes you feel good and improves your health and we provide an opportunity to have fun and meet new people.
You might not walk very much at the moment and that can be for lots of reasons. Some people feel they are not safe walking alone, maybe you have no-one to walk with or simply you don't know where to walk!
We can help with this! If you don't walk because of personal safety or you want people to walk with, you could come on one of our led walks! Choose from 11 different walks every week all across Peterborough. The walks are led by specially trained walk leaders.
