Do you see bluebells when you walk?
Published: 12th April 2011
VisitWoods is creating the UK's first map of bluebell woods open to the public. To do this, our partners need your help!
If you walk in a wood which has bluebells or which usually has bluebells in spring, please let our partners VisitWoods know by following a few simple steps on their website. It doesn't matter if the bluebells aren't out now, please just let VisitWoods know if you can usually expect to find bluebells there.
Go to VisitWoods.org.uk and help make VisitWoods the best resource for information on the UK’s accessible woodland. When you register, please make sure that you add ‘WfH’ in the ‘where did you hear about us?’ box on the registration page.
Walking for Health has teamed up with VisitWoods to identify the best woods near you where you can join a health walk. A new ‘Woodland WalkFinder’ will be appearing on the woodland walks pages soon.
