The Ramblers is not responsible for the contents or reliability of the websites it links to and does not necessarily endorse the views expressed within them. Listing should not be taken as endorsement of any kind. We cannot guarantee that these links will work all of the time and we have no control over the availability if the linked pages.

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

WalkFinder

Registered users of the website can submit details about their walks which are stored in compliance with data protection laws. This information is sometimes used to populate other website's databases, in order to make information about health walks more widely available. This information remains copyright of Natural England even when views on an external website.

E-newsletter

Uopn registering with our website, users are given the option to opt in to receive our e-newsletter. You can opt in or out at any time by viewing your account information (see link at top right of page when logged in). This information is stored on a third-party server hosted by MailChimp.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

The information gathered does not contain any personal information about you. We have opted not to allow Google to use or share our analytics data.
