Dr. William Bird MBE, the founder of Walking for Health, talks about how walking outdoors is an effective medicine for a variety of health conditions.

The Chief Medical Officer recommends that we achieve 150 minutes of moderate physical activity each week, in bouts of 10 minutes or more. Brisk walking is an ideal way to do this.
