Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge
Region: Yorkshire and Humber
Walk for The British Heart Foundation
Hike 24 miles across the principal peaks of the Pennines, scaled in just 12 hours - now that’s a tough call! This ever popular event offers the challenge of walking the three highest peaks in the county – Pen-y-Ghent (694m/2,277 ft), Whernside (736 m/2,415 ft) and Ingleborough (723m/2,372ft) and experiencing some of the UK’s most stunning scenery. Walkers will be supported all the way with marshals, first aid, recovery vehicles and refreshments to keep you safe, well and motivated as you get your heart pumping and support the nation’s heart charity.
The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is the nation’s heart charity, dedicated to saving lives through pioneering research, patient care, campaigning for change and by providing vital information. But we urgently need help. We rely on donations of time and money to continue our life-saving work. Because together we can beat heart disease.
