Walk Barnsley

Team Activ have won a ‘Walk Barnsley’ contract as part of the South Yorkshire Local Sustainable Travel Fund. Funding for the two-year-contract will target businesses and households along the A635 corridor between Town Centre and Hickleton to get more people engaged in walking.

Its a fun filled, fabulous fundraising day out for the family- a multi terrain running, walking and mountain biking event, taking you through the Vale of Pewsey, the Avon Valley and then across the beautiful, ancient landscape of the Salisbury Plain between Avesbury and Stonehenge. World Walk

An International walk in aid of Cancer Research UK, Macmillan Cancer Trust and Willen Hospice. We are trying to get as many people around the world walking during the same week to raise both funds and awareness. Create your own walking challenge as far as you like. Visit our website www.worldwalk.org.uk to see where we are walking. If there is not a walk in your area, you can create one of your own. If a large number of people register in your area, we will arrange a walk and add it to our website.
Bridges of London Charity Walk

Participate in a healthy, fun walk and raise money for charity. Join the Garden House Hospice which serves North Herts and have an enjoyable day out in London, on our sponsored walk of 12 bridges from Battersea to Tower Bridge (11 miles total). Jessop's Buggy Push

The Jessop's Buggy Push is a brand new event for Sheffield Hospitals Charity, raising money for the Jessop Wing hospital. Join in the fun for a 5km walk, power-walk or even run around Rother Valley Country Park’s “Green Route”. This flat, family-friendly course is perfect for showing off your buggy pushing skills, but it’s also suitable for bikes including trailers, family bikes, wheelchairs, scooters and bike-ability adapted cycles, or even just a good old-fashioned walk. You don’t need buggy - or a baby - to take part. The event is suitable for all the family, so the older children can ride their bikes around the route and the grandparents can join in too! The park welcomes pets, so even the dogs can come along.
